As Nigerians were celebrating Freedom from autocratic military rule, it appears that the celebration was premature, as the wave has been detoured by a powerful authoritarian undertow perpetrated by the political class and their accomplices in the bureaucratic set up.
Nigeria is a tragic case of a failed democracy. Our democracy is not threatened by the military. The politicians are the ones performing a macabre dance of death with our nascent democracy.
An unstable democracy cannot formulate and foster an economic plan based on consistent and strong policies, both in fiscal, monetary and other terms;
